The Halle Boca, new commercial and business pole, opens its doors in the district Euratlantique of Bordeaux

After rehabilitation of the former slaughterhouses, the Halle Boca, new place of commercial destination, a hotel and a business center, was inaugurated on November 8th, 2018 in the presence of 'Alain Juppé, Mayor of Bordeaux, Virginie Calmels, President of EPA Bordeaux Euratlantique, Jack Bouin, Genereal Director of Crédit Agricole Aquitaine, Frédéric Thomas, General Director of Crédit Agricole Assurances and Philippe Plaza, General Director of Eiffage Immobilier.

Eiffage Immobilier, promoter of the operation, delivered to the co-investors Crédit Agricole Assurances and Crédit Agricole of Aquitaine this real estate program integrating businesses, hotel business and offices.
 

For two years, the Southwest teams of Eiffage Construction renovated and reconverted former hall Debat-Ponsan, dating 1938 and which sheltered the slaughterhouses of Bordeaux. The cabinet of architecture ANMA Nicolas Michelin and Partners suggested merging this set while respecting the heritage existing with buildings in the same architectural continuity as the former. Actually, the original structure and the memory of places are kept, highlighting these remarkable buildings and the existing vaults, overlaid with 1200 glass pavements.

 
At the center of the future business district Bordeaux-Euratlantique, the Halle Boca creates a new festive and night-pole of conviviality on 23 500 m ² of surface with:

  • 3 new buildings including:
    • 10 500 m² of offices in R+8,
    • 149 parking places in underground,
    • a hotel of 6 300m², operated franchised by Naos Hôtel Groupe under the brand Hilton Garden Inn 4 *, of 166 rooms on 9 floors,
    • 640 m² de terraces.

The former Halle Debat-Ponsan is renovated et reconverted to welcome 6 700 m² dedicated to shops and restaurants.
