Social responsibility:a responsible corporate citizen
As a major player in the construction industry, Eiffage Construction is aware of its role and responsibility towards the community and the public interest. The company is taking action to reduce the carbon footprint of its activities, by deploying a sustainable economic and social model.
Developing and preserving human capital
In construction, everything depends on people whose vocation is to build.
Human capital is Eiffage Construction's most precious resource, one that it intends to protect and enhance.
The company is aware of this challenge and devotes considerable resources to training its workforce, creating a healthy working environment that is conducive to professional fulfilment, and offering each of its employees the opportunity to develop and grow with the company.
Promoting diversity and inclusion
Eiffage Construction devotes resources to advancing the societal causes that are important to the company.
It has long been a major player in the social enterprise policy, helping people with integration problems to return to work.
Preventing discrimination of all kinds and promoting diversity are ongoing concerns for the company.
It has introduced multiple initiatives to develop the employability of young people and seniors, and is committed to fostering diversity, equal opportunities, disability awareness and equality between all genders.
Contributing to local well-being
Eiffage Construction contributes to the development and well-being of the regions in which it operates.
It uses all the levers at its disposal: multi-partner employment and social enterprise policies, corporate philanthropy initiatives, purchasing policy (choice of CSR-compliant suppliers), fair and respectful customer practices, support for solidarity initiatives.
Co-founded in 1993 at the initiative of Eiffage Construction, the network of Clubs Régionaux d'Entreprises Partenaires de l'Insertion (Crepi), works to get people who are distanced from employment back into work.
In close connection with its activities, skills-based philanthropy is encouraged. Renovation projects have been completed throughout France with the Abbé Pierre Foundation for almost 20 years, including the renovation of heritage structures for the Picasso Museum and the Abbé Pierre Foundation's charity shops.
