One of Eiffage Construction's major concerns is to give everyone the opportunity to progress and perfect their skills in their profession, as well as to broaden their professional horizons. This policy is based on structured training programmes and ongoing skills management.
Training at the heart of corporate strategy
New technologies, new ways of working, new occupations – the construction sector is constantly changing.
This is why Eiffage Construction devotes substantial resources to ongoing professional training and skills management, to help its employees make the most of these changes.
Ongoing skills management
To help its employees build their career paths, Eiffage Construction provides a range of tools dedicated to the ongoing management of their skills:
- job maps, a genuine directory referencing all the company's occupations,
- job cards, which provide a full description of each job listed on the maps (tasks, activities, key skills, etc.…),
- training packs, which offer essential training for each job to help you develop and progress in your activity by acquiring new key skills.
These three schemes constitute a "toolbox" for the company, but also for its employees, who are encouraged to become active players in their own careers.
Customised training programmes, the key to success!
In addition to its general range of training opportunities, Eiffage Construction has set up specific training courses through the Eiffage University, such as:
- Master Chef training, which gives team leaders and site superintendents the keys to initiating their own productivity improvement initiatives,
- training in Logetex, Eiffage Construction's pricing software,
- training in the fundamentals of the property business for property programme managers and directors,
- online training in Building Information Modelling (BIM) for anyone likely to use these new technologies.
