Promoting diversity and inclusion

Eiffage Construction has a number of initiatives to promote professional integration, gender equality and disability.

These distinctions have been awarded by AFNOR since 2024 to reward our commitment to professional gender equality, on the one hand, and our commitment to preventing discrimination, respecting equal opportunities and promoting diversity on the other.

They reflect our desire to adapt our practices and operating methods to a constantly changing society. They enhance our attractiveness, encourage talent retention and promote collaboration.

Promoting diversity

Preventing discrimination of all kinds and promoting diversity are constant concerns for the company.

Because a work site is first and foremost a human adventure, Eiffage Construction completes multiple actions to integrate multiple profiles, to benefit from rich diversity and to prevent all forms of discrimination.

In practical terms, Eiffage Construction strives to ensure that diversity in its teams is understood, experienced, and felt as an opportunity by all its employees.

This approach opens up opportunities for dialogue and sharing at all company levels. It inspires commitment on a daily basis to sustain a work environment that is welcoming and conducive to professional fulfilment. It is naturally integrated into all areas such as management training, human resources management, and relations with all partners.

A wide range of initiatives make up this effort, including awareness-raising campaigns on stereotypes, micro-aggressions and disabilities, quarter-hour discussions on work sites, employee testimonials on issues that concern them, as well as a guide for managers.

Promoting equality and gender diversity in the workplace

The building and construction trades are attracting more and more women, and we are keen to encourage this trend.

Together with the "Elles Bougent" association, Eiffage's female engineering and technical mentors are active in talking to secondary school students about their careers and their passion. To support the careers of female employees, particular attention is paid to anything that might restrict mobility and access to positions of responsibility. This focus is also supported by the company's women's and mixed-gender networks.

At the same time, the company is careful to ensure that its organisation and management models are in line with the expectations of employees who want to balance their professional and personal lives.

This focus on quality of life in the workplace is regularly measured using in-house satisfaction surveys.

Integrating and supporting people with disabilities

Through its network of disability representatives, Eiffage Construction implements a range of in-field initiatives on awareness-raising, recruitment and job retention.

From offices to work sites, information is regularly provided on existing schemes to detect risk situations and support those who are recognised as disabled workers.
