Eiffage strengthens its presence in Luxembourg with the acquisition of the Baatz group’s contracting entities
Eiffage, via its subsidiary Eiffage Construction, has signed the acquisition of an 80% stake in the Baatz group*, a family-owned Luxembourg-based group founded in 1938, which has 470 employees and generated consolidated revenue of €142 million in 2025.
Eiffage is acquiring the Baatz group’s contracting companies, active in civil engineering and earthworks, deep foundation works, demolition, site remediation, the recycling of building materials and the production of ready-to-use concrete. These companies will be joining Eiffage alongside the Eiffage Construction subsidiary Perrard, which already operates in Luxembourg, in order to strengthen and supplement the Group’s expertise in the country.
This acquisition will allow Eiffage Construction to provide an offering in Luxembourg extending from civil engineering and building to property development while solidifying its commitment to the circular economy. With a total of over 750 employees, the new combined business is expected to generate around €200 million in annual revenue.
Building on its more than 125 years of experience and through this acquisition, Eiffage Construction is set to become a leading player in building and civil engineering, and property development in Luxembourg, fully committed to the ecological transition.
The existing management team is remaining in place to ensure continuity of service for the customers, partners and employees.
