Eiffage Construction delivers

After the ERIA Tower completed by Eiffage Construction Tertiaire a few weeks ago, our Eiffage Construction Grands Projets teams have delivered another emblematic project for Altarea Cogedim in La Défense: Landscape, formerly known as Tours Pascal, a 72,500 m² property complex. The work consisted of the rehabilitation, reunification and extension of these two towers, which are classified as high-rise buildings.

Built in the heart of La Défense in 1982, the Pascal Towers have been given a facelift to become the "Landscape" building, with work starting in spring 2018. This large-scale renovation, which mobilised up to 100 workers at peak times, was designed by Dominique Perrault and Builders & Partners and respects the original architectural line.

The two towers, connected by a metal framework, were raised by 6 metres each to reach 73m and 100m respectively. In addition, a 21-storey extension between the two towers was also created, replacing the original footbridge. The facades were reinforced and built by Goyer, part of the Eiffage Group. On the outside, the original architectural line was respected.

The building created is fully in line with the 21st century, with its two patios, its planted loggias, its rooftop and its many work, meeting and social spaces. The thermal insulation has also been redone. All these initiatives enable the project to aim for numerous environmental performances, in line with the Group's sustainable development approach:

  •     HQE Exceptional level
  •     Breeam Very Good level
  •     Well Gold level
  •     BBC-Effinergie label
  •     Wiredscore Gold level certification

Congratulations to the teams for this beautiful delivery!
