In Libourne (33500), the Eiffage Construction Works & Services teams delivered a new branch to Crédit Agricole d'Aquitaine, built using a design-build approach. This project involved the complete creation of a branch after partial demolition, preserving part of the existing structure and adding an extension.
After a year of work, the building, with a total area of 554 m² spread over two levels, now offers spaces adapted to the new uses of employees including: a reception area, offices and circulation, a meeting room, archive rooms, a secure technical enclosure and living spaces (sanitary facilities, kitchenette, rest room).
One of the most striking aspects of the project lies in the extensive structural reinforcement, both in terms of the steel frame and the main structure. This technical challenge was met through the coordinated design and execution phases.
The architecture is an extension of the existing structure while asserting its own identity, notably through the use of wood on the facade.
Inside, the furnishings also showcase wood, with oak elements contributing to the quality of the spaces.
A huge congratulations to the Works & Services teams for the success of this project!
