Eiffage Construction wins a comprehensive design-build performance contract for the future headquarters of the Oise energy syndicate
Eiffage Construction wins a global performance contract in design-build for the future headquarters of the Oise energy syndicate, a project at the crossroads of technical, social and environmental innovation.
Eiffage Construction, the lead contractor in the consortium, will manage the overall performance contract for the design and construction of the future headquarters of the Oise energy syndicate, alongside Eiffage Energie Systèmes and Eiffage Route . Located in the heart of the Novaparc business park in Beauvais, this project will support the syndicate's transformation, as its workforce is set to double to 80 employees.
Conceived as much more than a simple office building, this future headquarters embodies a strong ambition: to create an exemplary energy ecosystem and place people at the heart of the project. Indeed, social innovation is one of the pillars of the design, and this is reflected in various ways:
- Co -design : this method made it possible to bring together all members of the team so that each element of the design was analyzed and "validated", always placing the future user at the center;
- Workplace well-being: interactions between employees are encouraged through circulation, social spaces, and the installation of a vegetable garden. The installation of two Tiny Houses will allow employees living furthest away to benefit from an extra room;
- Employees and visitors to the site will be immersed in an ecosystem where they will be able to influence the energy consumed. To do this, a system will allow them to act directly to improve performance, for example by programming the charging time of their electric vehicle;
- Finally, the showroom located at the entrance will be crucial in enabling union members and visitors, such as schoolchildren, to easily understand the issues related to energy.
Eiffage Construction is also deploying a range of innovative solutions to make this building a demonstrator of the energy transition.
A smart grid , managed by AI-powered simulation and optimization models, will enable the production, consumption, and regulation of energy at three scales:
- At the building and infrastructure level, through the implementation of a complete energy ecosystem: photovoltaic solar panels in carports and on the roof, geothermal heat pump, hydrogen-compatible gas boiler as backup/emergency heating, connection to the future deployed heating network, thermal solar panels, fuel cell and electrolyzer, powered by surplus photovoltaic production, energy storage, set of sensors (temperature, humidity, sunlight, wind, etc.)
- At the level of the ZAC (Zone d'Aménagement Concerté - Joint Development Zone), in a spirit of territorial energy solidarity: for electricity: via collective self-consumption of production
for heat: management of surplus thermal production.
The two-story building, with over 2,000 m² of usable floor space, will meet the requirements of the RE2020 threshold 2025, with an anticipation of developments up to 2028.
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2027, with delivery expected in the first quarter of 2028.
A huge congratulations to all the teams for securing this new contract!
