EDHEC Roubaix: a new contract on an occupied site for our Works & Services teams

Eiffage Construction, through its Works & Services teams, is involved in the energy renovation of building S on the EDHEC campus in Roubaix, as well as in the construction of an extension.
An operation carried out on an occupied site, in the heart of a campus hosting up to 4,500 students during peak periods.

This project, led by SCI EDHEC Lille Métropole, aims to modernize existing spaces while enriching uses through the creation of a central unifying space: a 1,120 m² agora that will house a catering area and a library.

The works include complex structural interventions, among the emblematic achievements: a monumental white concrete staircase with a curved wall will structure and enhance the new spaces.

The operation also includes the energy renovation of building S, notably through the implementation of external thermal insulation, contributing to a sustainable improvement in the site's performance.

Committed to a demanding environmental approach, the renovation of building S aims for BREEAM and ENERPHIT certifications, the latter based on a very low-energy building concept. The project also adheres to the Clean Construction Site charter.

The construction site will require up to 10 workers at peak times.
Work began in March with delivery scheduled for September 2029.
