BrusselsLa SourceA sustainable and innovative head office in the heart of Brussels!

The new headquarters of Eiffage Construction Belux, Valens and Eiffage Real Estate, named La Source, embodies the group's commitment to more sustainable and innovative construction.

Located in Brussels, this ambitious renovation project transformed a former office building from the 1990s into a modern, functional and environmentally remarkable space.

An exemplary transformation

This project required a comprehensive approach to renovation and energy optimisation.

The aim?

Reduce the carbon footprint of the renovated building while creating an efficient and pleasant working environment for its occupants.

The choice of a major renovation rather than a new build, together with the preservation of the building's existing structure, resulted in a reduction of its carbon footprint by 854 tonnes of CO2.

A refurbishment project demonstrating our expertise

The reuse of materials (technical flooring, doors, carpets, etc.) was given priority to limit the production of waste and make maximum use of existing resources.

The façade was replaced and optimised to improve the thermal performance of the building. No fossil fuels are used in the building and innovative CO2 heat pump technology has been installed.

Solar panels on the roof and exterior walls reduce CO2emissions. Through all these initiatives, the project aimed for BREEAM Outstanding rating and WELL platinum certification.

A building for the future

The layout of the spaces is designed to provide a contemporary working environment, encouraging collaboration and natural light.

Using a smart network, our staff can now manage a multitude of parameters such as booking meeting rooms, managing lighting and temperature, all from their smart phones.

Meanwhile, the lighting follows the circadian cycle, adjusting the temperature and intensity of light to reproduce natural variations, promoting well-being and comfort.

By bringing our three Brussels entities together in the same building, we want to privilege synergies and a collaborative team spirit that match our values.

«La Source» will offer workspaces conducive to co-creation, innovation and creativity.

Perform well together to succeed as a team, such is our corporate project! It is also aligned with our desire to optimise our modes of mobility and drastically reduce our CO2footprint, which perfectly reflects our ambition to become the leader in low carbon in the Construction sector.
