A very nice success! Last September, our teams won the Global Public Performance Market for the reconstruction of the scondary school Georges Brassens in Villeneuve-le-Roi (Paris Region). The operation, which has a strong vegetated appearance, will be carried out in synergy with Clévia, the brand dedicated to climate and energy engineering of Eiffage Energie Systèmes.
The work will include the demolition of the current college and the building housing the Documentation and Information Centre, the half-board and the boiler room and will consist of the reconstruction of the college which will eventually accommodate 600 students.
Imagined by the architecture agency SEMON-RAPAPORT, this project of 8000 m2 will accommodate classes in the higher levels, from the 1st to the 3rd floor, while the ground floor will be dedicated to indoor sports spaces, places of accompaniment of the students or the canteen. Outside, the college will have its own sports platform.
Thanks to the objectives pursued and the nature that will be fully integrated into this project, it is an integral part of our ambitious environmental approach, initiated by the Group and deployed in our businesses. The greening of the site will pass at the same time by some patios, tree aisles, an educational garden, vegetal roofs and still green islets in the playground. With respect to environmental and energy objectives:
- Obtaining the «passive building» label
- Parcel Stormwater Management
- Control of energy consumption.
Eiffage Énergie Systèmes' teams, through their subsidiary Clévia, will be in charge of preventive and corrective maintenance of the site, in particular for the heating, ventilation and air treatment part, but also for strong currents and the technical management of the building.
The first school year is expected in 2023.
