Foundation stone laid for the Cust’Home project in Bordeaux

Friday, 16 December 2016, Jacques Mangon, Mayor of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, Departmental Councillor, Vice President of Bordeaux Métropole, responsible for Regulatory Town Planning, and President of La Fabrique, Elizabeth Touton, Deputy Mayor of Bordeaux in charge of Operational Town Planning, Housing and Transport, Nathalie Delattre, Deputy Mayor of Bordeaux Maritime, Regional Advisor for Nouvelle Aquitaine, Jérôme Goze, Delegate Director General of La Fabrique de Bordeaux Métropole, Hervé Lapastoure, Director of Eiffage Immobilier Sud-Ouest, and Bernard Blanc, President of Axanis laid the foundation stone for the Cust’Home operation.

The Cust’home residence is part of a joint operation by Eiffage Immobilier and Axanis. It is one of the first construction sites launched in the Bordeaux Ravezies sector that is part of the “50,000 dwellings along public transport routes” programme promoted by Bordeaux Métropole and implemented by La Fabrique, its local public company.

The first phase of the residence will include 32 affordable apartments sold on the open market, ranging from one to five rooms with some of the apartments having a modular space that can be adapted to create an additional room depending on future needs.

Given its initial market success, Eiffage Immobilier is now selling the operation’s second tranche of 24 apartments; the third tranche will be released for sale in 2017.
Eiffage Construction is in charge of the construction work. Delivery of the first tranche is scheduled for February 2018.
