Eiffage Suisse, a subsidiary of Eiffage Construction, launches work on a 35000m² mixed project near Zurich

In Regensdorf, Switzerland, our Eiffage Construction teams have won the Stockenhof project, a mixed project that will combine individual accommodation, apartments for the elderly, medical rooms, cafeteria and commercial spaces. Work has just begun on this 35,000m² building program, owned by the Canton of Zurich’s Civil Service Pension Fund (BVK Personalvorsorge).

Encompassing five construction areas, the Stockenhof site in Regensdorf is located on the city’s eastern ring road. It will be an integral part of the new neighbourhood, which is open to diversity and encourages intergenerational contact between residents by the end of 2023.

It is divided into five building plots, where there are two villas that will be preserved. The remaining existing properties will be demolished. Plots 1 to 4 are reserved for the construction of 294 rental apartments ranging from 2 to 5 rooms as well as commercial premises. The external company Senevita AG will build, on plot 5, 94 apartments for the elderly, 40 medical rooms and a cafeteria.

The overall project, designed by Demuth Hagenmüller Architekten and Dachtler Partner Architekten, consists of five-level buildings plus an attic floor, all focused on a modern and sustainable architecture, notably attested by the Swiss SNBS certification.

Congratulations to all our teams at Eiffage Switzerland for this new real estate project which should be delivered in December 2023.
