The know-how of our teams in the North-West allows us to sublimate and revive French heritage! New operation signed last January, discover the video of this beautiful project located in Flines-lez-Râches: former convent (which accomodated nuns of the Cistercian abbey) dating from the 19th century, transformed into hospital during the 1st world war, then into primary and nursery school managed by the sisters, the place was unoccupied since the Nineties. To give it (yet another) lease of life, 41 flats will be created.
The 41 dwellings will be built in the existing building and supplemented by the creation of a new building with 16 dwellings. In the land that was part of the property, to the rear, a subdivision of 18 building plots is planned: enough to give life and dynamism to the place!
Designed by the Nathalie T'Kint Agency, elements of the existing building will be preserved (facades, framework depending on its condition), others created, such as the concrete floors, and the roof redone. For the new building, the facades will be in brick or concrete.
On the outside, one of the two existing inner courtyards will be retained and the other will be opened up by removing a wing to open up the operation and provide access to the building plots to the rear. The video shows more precisely the removal of the convent's bell tower to restore it to the ground and put it back on the renovated building.
The housing units are sold to PARTENORD and the building plots will be sold to private individuals, with the exception of one plot sold to PARTENORD, which will build 6 individual grouped housing units under the PSLA (Prêt Social Location-Accession) scheme.
