The Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin (CIGV) is making great strides! The project, which covers 6.3 hectares on the site of the former Dijon General Hospital and is part of the history of this emblematic place, has just reached a new stage: our Eiffage Immobilier teams and our partners have laid the first stone of the 4-star hotel, under the Curio by Hilton brand. It reflects the expertise of our teams on this site: the hotel will be built on an existing part of the site dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, and the creation of a new, more contemporary part.
Sold under a VEFA (Sale in Future State of Completion) contract a few months ago to the Lessor - composed of the financial institutions BPCE Lease Immo, Arkea Crédit Bail and Finamur - in the presence of the Lessee, Naos Murs Dijon, the hotel will be built by Eiffage Immobilier in the CIGV "eco-hospitality" zone.
By meeting the requirements of BREEAM Good certification for the old part and BREEAM Very Good for the new part, the hotel is part of the Group's ambitious environmental approach, in addition to embodying a unique heritage and historical project!
The hotel, designed by Anthony Bechu of the AAAB Agency, will have 125 rooms, a lobby, a restaurant, a bar, a SPA, an outdoor swimming pool and a reception room of around 700 sqm, with a total floor area of 6,790 sqm.
As part of our unique builder-developer model, the work is being carried out by Eiffage Construction teams in Burgundy-Franche-Comté.
