The 2nd edition of "Cité Nous" has taken place! Designed to accompany our construction sites in a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach, "Cité Nous" is organised in conjunction with our stakeholders to act collectively for employment, the environment, well-being and integration. The first edition took place in Noisy le Sec; this year in Montreuil, with Eiffage Construction and OPH Montreuil as co-organisers, accompanied by CREPI (Regional Clubs for Social Integration), the City of Montreuil, the associations "Sens de l'humus", "Les Cousines" and "RéaVie".

The aim of this day? To go and meet the inhabitants directly concerned by our work sites and to participate in their personal development, whether it be linked to employment, the environment or culture. The event was a great success with over 250 participants!

Numerous exchanges and workshops were organised, with the much-anticipated arrival of a world-famous sportsman: Souleymane Cissokho, the current WBA super-welter inter-continental boxing champion! He is also the French super-welterweight champion in 2019 and won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics (welterweight), but this does not mean that he has forgotten one of the most important values of sport: sharing. This is the second time he has participated in "Cité Nous" to introduce boxing to youngsters. During this edition, he was accompanied by the local boxing club "Rixe Boxe" and, together, they created vocations: at the end of this initiation, several young people plan to take a boxing licence with the club!

In addition to the workshop dedicated to sport, more than a hundred people were able to benefit from the employment forum organised for the occasion with the help of the CREPI, the territory and the City. 140 interviews were carried out by the partner companies and 7 candidates were offered a work contract on the same day! Our Eiffage Construction teams themselves received 22 candidates on their stand.

Finally, around a hundred children were able to take advantage of the environmental and cultural awareness activities offered by the associations "Sens de l'humus", "Les Cousines" and "RéaVie", an association created for the re-use of materials founded by Mohamed Hamaoui, one of our employees.

Congratulations to the teams involved in this great event and thanks to all the people and partners who helped organise it and contributed to its success!
