A new stage in the life of the LaVallée eco-district! A few months after the first residents moved in, the Lidl supermarket opened its shop

Designed by the architectural firm Atelier M3, the 3,000 m² Lidl shop, with a sales area of 1,700 m², opened its doors to the public on 30 November 2022. The aim of the town of Châtenay-Malabry is to develop the dynamic and commercial aspect of the LaVallée district, to make it a real place to live. Since the summer of 2022, 328 of the 500 homes delivered in the district have been Eiffage Immobilier homes.

Located in Châtenay-Malabry (92), between Sceaux Park and the Coulée Verte (which links the town to Paris-Montparnasse), the LaVallée eco-district, which was developed in synergy with all the Eiffage Group's business lines, enjoys a particularly privileged location. Since the delivery of the first homes last summer, the district has gradually become integrated into the surrounding urban fabric.

The new residents can in particular take advantage of the Lidl supermarket, which was delivered on 30 November. In a little over a year, the site will also house the head office of the Lidl group, currently located in Rungis.

Since September 2022, the LaVallée eco-district has welcomed its first residents, gradually becoming a welcoming and lively place to live. The first property programmes were delivered by Eiffage Immobilier in the summer of 2022.

In total, there are 4 programmes totalling 328 homes:

  • "Botanik", comprising 76 homes;
  • "Epure", with 40 homes as well as two shops at the foot of the building and a crèche;
  • "Icone", a joint development with COFFIM, offering 57 homes and three shops at the foot of the building;
  • "Spot" / "Côté Jardin" / "Prisme", forming lot G, and offering 155 homes and seven shops at the foot of the building.

All of these property developments are part of the Eiffage Group's ambitious environmental approach, offering low-carbon concrete made from aggregates from the deconstruction of the former Ecole Centrale, enabling the developments to aim for HQE Excellent certification.

The children of the LaVallée eco-district will discover the primary schools, which will open in September 2023. They will have to be slightly more patient for the middle school, which will open in 2026.

In addition, Eiffage Immobilier, as part of the 1 building, 1 work charter signed with the Ministry of Culture, has participated in the neighbourhood's art trail, the first sculpture of which has already been installed. Entitled "Renaissance", this bronze work, created by André Hogommat, is enthroned in the heart of the eco-neighbourhood, at a height of 2.4 metres.

Congratulations to our development, real estate and construction teams for this XXL urban development operation!
