Innovative and with remarkable environmental and energy performances, the Mesnil-en-Ouche school campus in the Eure region is atypical! Delivered by our teams this summer, it consists of a nursery school, a primary school and a secondary school, as well as a catering area and a boarding school. Its goal? To embody a last generation campus that can accommodate students throughout their schooling, from the youngest age to the 3rd.
In July 2020, the first stone of the project was laid and a year later, it was delivered to the Eure Department! An efficient realization for this operation totaling 7000m² of surface. The construction of a 30-bed boarding school within the college provides accommodation for students from afar.
In consultation with our teams, this campus was designed by the CBA Architecte agency, with Arc Architecture as project manager. The exterior of the college uses ITE (Thermal Insulation by the Exterior) and allows to limit the thermal transfers between the walls and the interior of a building: a real energy gain.
Anchored in the overall environmental approach of Eiffage Construction and the Group, the project design incorporates numerous initiatives in favor of sustainable development: geothermal energy for heating production, solar hot water panels, photovoltaic panels, etc. It is also bio-sourced because it uses wood for its framing and insulation made of wood fibres and has E3C1 performance targets for buildings excluding restoration and PASSIVHAUS for boarding school.
