Eiffage Construction has officially launched the rehabilitation work of the headquarters of Groupama Méditerranée in Aix-en-Provence. The project involves restructuring and modernising the head office of the insurance group.
The restructuring and modernisation of the headquarters of Groupama Méditerranée is part of the extensive real estate programme undertaken by the mutual insurer to modernise all of its management sites.
Imagined by BM and B Architectes, the project provides for the creation of a link gallery between the two existing buildings and a large common agora of 450 m² after partial demolition of one of the buildings. All equipment recovered will be fully recycled by a specialized company.
The offices, with a total area of 5500 m², will be completely renovated to allow the building to comply with RT2012 – 40%, excluding 700m² of photovoltaic panels that will be installed in a terrace roof.
The maintenance of the building will be controlled by a centralised technical management of the building attached to the BIM model of the project.
The objective of the renovation of this site is to equip employees with a new environment totally landscaped and modernized, in order to promote sharing and collaborative work.
The work will be carried out in two phases on a partially occupied site. The entire work will be carried out within 15 months for delivery in early 2020, mobilising up to 40 employees on this site.
Finally, the project will be conducted entirely in BIM by the services of Eiffage construction Provence, which will work only on digital model.
