The Lucie Aubrac high school of Courbevoie welcomes its 1500 pupils in a brand new facility realized by Eiffage Construction

Waited for a long time, the second general high school of Courbevoie, realized by Eiffage Construction, was inaugurated on September 3rd, 2018 in the presence of Valérie Pécresse, president of the region Ile-de-France, Patrick Devedjian, president of the department of the Hauts-de-Seine, Jacques Kossowski, the mayor of Courbevoie and Daniel Filâtre, vice-chancellor of the Versailles Academy

This high school, of a big size, will add up more than 13.000 m ² of surface of floor and will have an accommodation facilities of 1 500 pupils. It will be endowed with a CDI, a multi-purpose hall of 200 places, a gymnasium, an amphitheater and job accommodations. The school restaurant, of an accommodation facilities of 470 places, will work with two self-service restaurants and two different lines. Premises get organized on both sides of a big main aisle covered with a photovoltaic window.
 
The teams of Eiffage Construction delivered this establishment in 18 months instead of 24 usually planned for a building of this scale.
 
The architecture agency Epicuria conceived a building in length on four floors, with a real internal street, covered with a photovoltaic window. It will be used between the classes as the entertaining space besides a small school playground raised about 350 m ².
The technical measures taken as architectural design allow the high school Lucie Aubrac to reach ambitious environmental goals, in particular regarding energy consumption.
