In Brest, Eiffage Construction delivers nearly 300 renovated homes and halves their energy consumption

In the Kerbernard district of Brest, 272 homes have been completely renovated for Brest Métropole Habitat by our Eiffage Construction teams. They were inaugurated a few days ago in the presence of Hosny Trabelsi, Departmental Councillor for the Brest district and Deputy Mayor of Brest, Georges Bellour, Director of Brest Métropole Habitat, Pascal Portier, Regional Director of Eiffage Construction Grand-Ouest, Pascal Vaché, Director of Eiffage Construction Bretagne and Ludovic Hermsdorff, Director of Eiffage Construction Bretagne Nord

The project lasted almost two years. Designed by the architectural firm Latitude, this renovation of 3 buildings from R+8 to R+11 has made it possible to redo all the facades with Myral type cladding. Residents will be able to enjoy completely redesigned and restructured outdoor spaces, common areas and housing.

One of the key points of this renovation is the reduction in the energy consumption of the buildings: thanks to the remarkable thermal insulation work carried out on all the buildings, the gain in consumption is 52% on average. This is a significant advantage for residents, but also for the environment: this operation is part of the Eiffage Group's ambitious environmental approach.

The project's facilities and surroundings have also been improved: new car parks, new pavements, more secure bicycle storage areas, better accessibility for people with reduced mobility, etc. Designed by Bruit des Cailloux, the external facilities encourage soft mobility (pedestrians, bicycles, etc.): these were at the heart of the urban redevelopment project.

Congratulations to the teams for this fine delivery!
