The inauguration of Custhome, first phase of the operation « Bordeaux Résidence du Lac », marks a new stage in the realization of the program " 50 000 housing around the axes of collective transport " carried by Bordeaux Métropole and implemented by Fab - Factory of Bordeaux Métropole.
The operation « Bordeaux Résidence du Lac » joins a dynamics of wider urban transformation, including several recent or in progress operations: eco-district Ginko, URBAN DEVELOPMENT ZONE of Tasta in Bruges but also the arrangement of public aéra in the district of Sapwoods...
The whole program, the construction of which is confided to the teams of Eiffage Construction, consists of 156 housing among which 22 social housing, 52 housing in social loan rent-entry, 34 housing in affordable entry and 48 housing.
A particular attention was was given in the architectural quality: housing benefits from a double orientation, from a stay positioned in a situation of angle, as well as from an outside, generous and well sized continuation, from this living-room.
One of the strong characteristics of Custhome, who met a commercial striking success and is completely marketed, lies in the evolution capacities of a number of housing, thanks to a potential extension of these. Concretely, it is of a " additionnal room ", not fitted out livery, about 10 m ² which every resident can invest immediately or later.
Next stage, after the delivery of this first phase, conceived(designed) by Bruno Rollet / DND architects: the delivery on the horizon 2019 of the islands 2 and 3 of the residence.
As a reminder, the program "50 000 housing around the axes of collective transport", carried by Bordeaux Métropole and implemented by Fab - Factory of Bordeaux Métropole - has for objective to produce quality housing, in affordable price, in sectors served by the collective transport. Via this program, Bordeaux Métropole wished in particular to anticipate the effect of attraction of the new transport lines and to press on the transformation of these territories.
