"Le Sévigné" offices, intended for the company COVIVIO, have been completely renovated by Eiffage Construction, as a general contractor. Delivery took place last April. The major renovation of this 8-storey building has made it possible to achieve ambitious energy certifications and to offer a better working environment to employees.
In order to rethink the spaces and to respond to an aesthetic desire for modernization, but also for energy performance, certain existing "structures" were demolished and rebuilt in their entirety.
The elevator shaft and 2 levels of floors were completely rebuilt. One floor level was reinforced with a metal framework added underneath. In addition, the interior architecture was completely redesigned. Brass inlays, decorative suspensions and the addition of rounded tiles modernize the offices. These embellishments provide a more pleasant working environment for employees.
The building now meets the environmental performance objectives that have earned it BREEAM Very Good and WIREDSCORE Gold Level certification. Also, the existing carpets and lighting fixtures were recovered to be reused for another project: a great initiative to recycle used materials!
Another challenge was that the work was carried out on an occupied site; the first floor of the building was used by the French Post Office and remained open six days a week.
Congratulations to our teams and partners involved in this project:
