Eiffage Construction, Demcy and Cycle Up enter into an operational collaboration to develop channels for the reconditioning of reused materials

Combining our skills and resources to study how to contribute to the emergence of a structured reuse sector in Auvergne Rhône Alpes is the challenge that the Eiffage Construction, Demcy and Cycle Up teams have taken up. The objective is to eventually integrate products and materials from reuse into our new construction and renovation projects.

Eiffage Construction, Demcy and Cycle Up (a company offering services for reuse to help sellers and buyers make the most of their unused resources) have entered into an operational collaboration to develop channels for reconditioning reused materials.

Eiffage Construction is constantly working to develop high-performance, low-carbon solutions capable of meeting the social and environmental challenges faced by private and public-sector clients. The circular economy is, in this respect, one of the spearheads of our commitment to combat global warming.

The collaboration covers analytical work, preliminary studies and several technical and economic explorations. This work will make it possible to supply the low-carbon construction and renovation market for residential buildings in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the first instance.

Demcy's expertise in deconstruction, Cycle Up's commitment to reuse, and Eiffage Construction's motivation and needs combine to create solutions open to all players in the region, develop reuse and thus reduce the pressure on the planet's resources for the construction sector.

Congratulations to the Auvergnes-Rhône-Alpes teams for this low-carbon approach, which is fully in line with the Eiffage Group's ambitious environmental policy.
