On December 18, Eiffage Construction delivered the Lidl logistics platform to Cestas (33), an industrial building with an area of 55,000 m² and 2,000 m² of offices. This general company construction and VRD market has been delivered in just 13 months, involving nearly 200 employees.
This warehouse will serve as central point for the supply of the products of 72 stores Lidl of departments Gironde, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne and Pyrénées Atlantiques.
The building(ship), implanted on a 17 hectare plot of land, was realized in superficial foundations, structure and skeleton concrete. The teams of Eiffage Construction also proceeded to the realization of the technical prizes(lots), 17 000 m ² of cold room among which 4000 m ² of negative cold room in 28 °. The building(ship) in the course of certification will be a fully qualified teacher Bream excellent level.
Endowed with last technologies and concepts, this new project becomes integrated perfectly into its natural environment with numerous devices(plans) of sustainable development:
- Natural lighting with passage in LED to favor energy savings,
- Optimized devices(plans) of waste recycling,
- Technical management of the building(ship) for the management of the energy,
- Recovery(Recycling) of the heat cleared(released) by machines to warm plenary sessions and for the heating on the ground of the warehouse.
This new regional warehouse will open officially next March.
