The former Halle Debat-Ponsan, now called Halle Boca, has undergone a spectacular renovation: in two years, the Eiffage Immobilier and Eiffage Construction teams have transformed the former slaughterhouses, which date from 1938, into a new centre for shops, offices and hotel.
While preserving the city's heritage, our teams have contributed to its dynamism. The project was carried out in two stages:
Designed by the Nicolas Michelin et Associés architectural agency at the request of the Bordeaux-Euratlantique public development establishment (EPA), this project has received two awards:
The original structure of the former slaughterhouses and the memory of the site have been preserved, highlighting these remarkable buildings and the existing vaults, encrusted with 1,200 glass blocks.
In addition to its architectural qualities and its high level of technicality, the project is part of the Eiffage Group's ambitious environmental approach, being certified BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) Very Good.
Modern architecture and heritage blend together to make this area more dynamic and meet the needs of all users in this business hub.
