A heritage to renovate

The City of Versailles, through its municipal social housing office, has launched a vast renovation plan for 1096 social housing units, divided into 22 buildings, in the Bernard de Jussieu district.

On behalf of Versailles Habitat and Grand Paris Habitat, Eiffage Construction is carrying out the renovation work on an occupied site for 1096 homes in four phases of work:

Phase 1 : June 2019 - September 2020

Phase 2 : June 2020 - July 2021

Phase 3 : January 2021 - December 2021

Phase 4 : October 2021 - April 2022.

The works started in June 2019 included the insulation of the building envelope (facades, external joinery, waterproofing), the creation or improvement of the ventilation of the dwellings, the bringing of the dwellings up to standard electrically, the replacement of individual gas boilers, the embellishment of the common parts, as well as the treatment of the surroundings and the reorganisation of the halls. The environmental labels obtained for this project, BBC Effinergie and HPE Rénovation, are in line with the Eiffage Group's ambitious environmental approach.

Rehabilitation to improve the living environment
