It's signed! The consortium led by Eiffage Construction, in synergy with the Savare teams, our expert entity in wooden construction, has just signed a wood structure housing operation with ambitious E+C objectives!
Reclaiming the former wastelands of La Gorgue is the mission of our teams. With these dwellings entirely built in wood structure, it is a project with a sober, elegant architecture, made of wood cladding and bricks and designed by the Claude Debrock agency, which will see the light of day in the spring of 2022.
Produced off-site by our Savare subsidiary, an expert in timber construction, 30 social housing units representing more than 3,000m² of living space will be built on the former Waymel de La Gorgue wasteland and will contribute to the urbanisation of the site.
Built for Logifim, these will be so-called "duplicable" buildings, so that they can be reinvented on other sites in the future: one of the many advantages of industrialised construction. The latter also reduces production lead times, on-site nuisances, truck journeys and therefore the carbon footprint...
In addition to its wooden structure, which traps CO2 emissions, the operation's energy objectives are the E+C label - level E3C1 and RT 2012 60%: a project integrated into the Eiffage Group's environmental approach!
Congratulations to the teams for this new contract and thank you to our partners!
