The media library of Vitrolles received a double reward during the XXVth edition of Cemex Building Awards for its esthetic and innovative character.
Cemex revealed the prize-winners of the XXVth edition of Cemex Building Awards. Among the selected projects, the jury awarded the realization of Eiffage Construction: the media library of Vitrolles twice.
Designed by the architect Jean-Pierre Lott, curved lines and symbol which the media library embodies in the restructuring of the city of Vitrolles were also greeted by a special distinction " social Interest ".
The realization got the 3rd place behind Torre Reforma in Mexico City and the San Jose middle school of Cajicá in Colombia in the category " international Constructions ".
The prize-giving took place in the presence of the architect, M. Christophe Rosset, the representative of the city of Vitrolles and José Lopez el Hoyo, branch manager Cemex Bétons Bouche-du-Rhône.
