The Semop Châtenay-Malabry Parc - Centrale signs the acquisition of the Paris Center School's site

La Semop Châtenay-Malabry Parc - Centrale proceeded to the signature of the repurchase of Paris Center School's site on October 23rd. The Paris Center School is going to make way for a new eco-area designed by Eiffage Aménagement.

In the beginning of February, 2017, the moving of the school on the tray of Saclay is announced. The city of Châtenay-Malabry chose Eiffage Aménagement prize-winner of the consultation of planners thrown in July, 2016 for the realization of the future mixed eco-area of 213 000 m ² SDP.

The operation is realized as a part of the first Semop (semipublic company with unique operation) of arrangement led in France, held in 66 % by Eiffage Aménagement and 34 % by the city of Châtenay-Malabry.

The land acquisition concerns a surface of 173 000 m ² on 205 000 m ² of the ground.
 
The new district will become at the same time a place of house, work and walk, with:

  • 30 000 m ² of offices,
  • 15 000 m ² of stores,
  • 2 000 housing,
  • a school complex,
  • a gymnasium,
  • a nursery,
  • 2 hectares of green space

The zone will offer a direct access to the park of Sceauc and will benefit from the next arrival of the line 10 of the streetcar, allowing an easy access to the RER B..
 
The school will move out at the end of 2017. Alteration work will start in the course of the 1st quarter 2018.
