The construction of the gerontological pole CHRIST ROI begins in Toulouse!

Eiffage Construction Occitanie laid the foundations of the new gerontological pole of Toulouse on June 28th in the presence of Lord Robert LE GALL, Archbishop of Toulouse and president of the Association Lord Garrone, Philippe CARRERE, director of Eiffage Construction Occitanie, Franck RIBIERE, director of Eiffage Construction Grand Toulouse and Jean François SIMAL ALDEA, director of development assemblies Eiffage Construction Midi Pyrénées.

Monseigneur Garrone association entrusted the realization of the gerontological pole CHRIST ROI, designed by the cabinet Séquences Architecture, to the teams Occitanie of Eiffage Construction.
 
Conceived at first to welcome a new retirement home bound for  the old priests of the diocese, the project evolved to allow in the residents of the retirement home Saint Augustin, whose places were not anymore standards, to settle down in this new gerontological pole and to take advantage of collective services (catering, infirmary, laundry, night-office).
 
On a 4 hectare ground, the operation, of a surface of 6029 m ², will consist of three buildings :

  • A seniors residence of 54 privative housing intended for the autonomous elderly,
  • An EHPA (Establishment of Accommodation for Elderly) including by 29 apartments adapted to the ageing people,
  • a chapel of 250 m².

 
The works will last 19 months and the delivery is planned for November, 2019.
