Our Eiffage Construction teams inaugurate Mont-de-Marsan's courthouse

The inauguration took place at the beginning of September in the presence of Guillaume Cotelle, president of the judicial court, Olivier Janson, public prosecutor and the

Lord Chancellor

, Eric Dupond-Moretti. Exceptional guests for this architecturally impressive project, which was carried out by our Eiffage Construction teams in the South-West of France.

After 26 months of work, Eiffage Construction Pays Basque - Landes delivered the new Palais de Justice in Mont-de-Marsan (40) last May. The 6300 sqm building houses five courts: the assize court, the high court, the district court, the commercial court and the industrial tribunal.

Located about 1 km from the historic centre and the town's air base, the project creates a link with the peri-urban environment thanks to the creation of a wooded area of Scots pines, a desire of the architects of the BLP & Associés Agency. This extends towards the main entrance via a covered forecourt forming a hall leading to the salle des pas perdus and the courtrooms.

This beautiful project, carried out for the Agence publique pour l'immobilier de la justice (Apij), mobilised 30 workers during the peak period, and totalled 7,500 hours of integration: a definitely social operation.

Congratulations to all the teams for this masterful achievement, and thanks to our partners:
- Architects: Agence BLP & Associés
- Project owner: Apij
- ELEC co-contractor: Sertelec
- PLUMBING/HVAC: Bobion et Joanin
