The property management of Orange has just entrusted the realization of its new Data Center to Mainvilliers (28), near Chartres, to the subsidiaries of the Eiffage group: Eiffage Construction et Eiffage Route for the enclosed-covered, the architectural lots, the finishing lots, the earthworks and the VRD and the subsidiary of Eiffage Energie Systèmes Clemessy for the strong current electricity lot.
The group led by Eiffage Construction will produce a Data Center of 30,000 m² of floor area in R+2. The complex will include 3 buildings: a tertiary building, a computer building and a central security post. Architecture firm A26 was entrusted with control of this operation.
This Data Center is intended to ensure the hosting and operation of a part of the IT equipment, networks and telecoms of Orange and its customers in the municipality of Mainvilliers.
This contract was signed last January. This significant success illustrates the strength of the Group’s overall offer and of the team work carried out by the various branches of the Group and of the effective commercial coordination provided by Clemessy, the historical partner of the Orange Group.
This project strengthens Eiffage’s expertise in datacenter realisation since the group has several achievements such as the one for choreus in Aubergenville in the Paris region or the Data Center for the BNP Paribas group in Belgium.
More than 300 people will be mobilized on this site. The work will begin on April 23 for a full delivery on September 18, 2020.
