Mercedes-Benz entrusts the construction of the new extension of its Polish factory to Eiffage Polska

The works of the new extension of the factory Mercedes-Benz began in Poland. The construction site is assured by several branches of Eiffage Polska: Eiffage Polska Serwis and Eiffage Polska Budownictwo as well as partners EQOS Energie Polska and GK-Elektro.

The production factory of Mercedes-Benz engine - the first one of the brand in Poland - is located in Jawor, a city in the Southwest of the region Lower Silesia, 70 km away of Wroclaw, capital of the region.
 
On a plot of land of 100 hectares of ground, this extension of 90 000m ² will produce diesel engines for Mercedes-Benz cars. It will include :

  • a hall of production with offices on two floors,
  • an establishment for the employees,
  • A reception and safety box with the main entrance.

The delivery of the operation will be made in several phases: the hall and the reception box will be ready for February, 2019 whereas the establishment for the employees will be ended in June, 2019.
 
The factory of Jawor will create 500 extra jobs in the region (business partners, subcontractors and service providers etc.).
 
Eiffage Polska has a lot of experience in the sector of the industrial construction. Previously, the company had the opportunity to realize the extension of the hall of production of Unilever in Poznan, the modernization of the factory Michelin in Olsztyn and the construction of a hall of logistics in Wrzesnia for Volkswagen Poznan.
