Eiffage Construction starts the building work of an EHPAD and a sheltered housing to the hospital center of Bapaume (62)

In the presence of Pierre Bertrand, director of the hospital center of Bapaume, and Jean-Claude Leroy, departmental president of council of Pas-de-Calais, the hospital center of Bapaume officially laid the foundations of its new nursing home and sheltered housing on January 23rd of this year.
Started at the beginning of February, the works of this operation were entrusted to Eiffage Construction Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

The construction site(work) joins within a program of modernization of the infrastructures of the Hospital center of Bapaume. Indeed, the nursing home Henri-Guidet and its sheltered housing for the handicapped person can't give enough comfort particulary to care the people affected by the Alzheimer's disease and the ageing disabled people.

The total capacity of the new nursing home and the sheltered housing " Lucien-Langlet " will be 102 beds with 82 places for the new nursing home:

  • a life unit for ageing disabled people of 16 beds,
  • 2 life units for the people sick of Alzheimer of 12 beds,
  • a park of activities and adapted care,
  • 3 traditional life units of 14 beds,
  • 2 beds of temporary accommodation will complete this offer.

The part reserved for the sheltered housing will be in capacity to welcome 20 adults in situation of handicap.

The budget of the works of the nursing home and the sheltered housing " Lucien-Langlet " is estimated at 13,8 million euros.
