Big moment in the development of Isle Adam's port: the lock doors installed by the Eiffage teams

The construction of the marina of Isle Adam is a flagship project led by Eiffage Aménagement since summer 2017. On June 9 and 10, an important milestone was reached with all the operational teams: the installation of the 2 gates of the lock.

Impressive images: on the 9th and 10th of June on the site of Isle Adam was the laying of the 2 doors of the lock connecting the Oise river to the basin of 1.8 hectares of the future marina.

Made up of 15 tons of steel each, they took place in the channel dug over 80 meters to connect the Oise. Their weight and scale required them to be transported by exceptional convoys from the Eiffage Métal factories in Fos-sur-mer.

The project of the marina of Isle Adam is atypical and exceptional in Île-de-France region, with the construction of a marina, a harbour master, a lock as well as shops and real estate programs, part of which will integrate social housing, on an area of 9 hectares in total.

The next important steps of the project are linked to Eiffage Génie Civil, Eiffage Route and Roland, who realize this project under the management of Eiffage Aménagement. They consist in the laying of the 400 meters of pontoons for a reception ability of 139 ships and the finalisation of the 520 meters of pedestrian mail in order to complete this harbour complex in the autumn.

The housing around the basin, part of which is carried out by Eiffage Immobilier, will all be completed by the end of 2020, as will the site master whose operator Sodeport will manage.
