Thursday, September 19, 2019, in the four corners of the Regional Directorate East, took place an important meeting related to safety on construction sites.
They all marked a time of pause: from the Cité internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin in Dijon to the shipyard of Sofilo in Reims, passing by the shipyard Viotte in Besançon, all the employees of the 25 projects in progress in Burgundy Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne have interrupted their tasks last month.
At 10.00 a.m., members of the management committee, preventive workers, companions and supervisors gathered on the building sites to encourage and promote prevention. Together, they conducted a 360° tour of their work environment. Collective and individual protection, circulation, storage of workstations, etc. The European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection has been consulted.
At the end of the 360°, management and companions committed themselves to further improving their working environment on one or more priority points: maintenance of traffic, storage of workstations, finalsafe visits ... simple but well-kept commitments definitely contribute to reducing the risks on our worksites!
This meeting was also an opportunity for Jacques Delaine, Regional Director of Eiffage Construction Est, to thank all the employees for their involvement in prevention and their constant vigilance.
